By wonderful people !
I wonder how bloggers in general manage to balance dropping their entrecard and posting on their own blog.
At first Entrecard was an easy way to have people dropping on my blog, but dropping 300 ec / days was time-consuming. That activity was cutting the time I would have been spending putting new content out.
Few visitors take the time to post a comment, and at the end of the days it’s a bit like nobody came
Then I took few days of reflection, dropping 30 cards in average (Mostly drop back and favorite blogs), and trying to get back the determination to build my blog, lost few days ago.
After few days off, I started another approach: Putting my blog first, after the new post done, then I go to drop my cards. However I do it in a better way, I comment on other blog. Not just to say: “Yes I agree” I try to post something showing a genuine interest in the content of the blog.
Few blogs using Entrecard have 10 or more comments per post daily. This is my new commitment if you have a good post, I leave a comment !
The good thing is by posting my content first, I have good quality post, and sooner or later I will earn my readership.
Please feel free to tell me your opinion or how you are doing with Entrecard.
Totally powered is the place where great things happens. We offer to bloggers and web masters hints, tutorial, free templates, free entrecards credits and even reviews of blogs.
More to come...

Dropping 300 cards a day really a time consuming. I think card dropping should not be the priority for Entrecard users unless they have the luxury of time. Rather, put more importance and concentration on content publishing.

@ Eric
You also have to get new people to visit your website, and check the content already posted !
Because if only 20 people visit you site everyday it is not enough…

Being still kinda new I am unsure. I am seeing how it’s SERIOUSLY interfering in my work life; dropping 300 x daily I mean. I’ll either burn out and stop it or I’ll just visit my favorites daily…I can see it going that way because by the time I have finished dropping I am so burned out my creativity is waning.

I think it’s best to put more priority in your content first than entrecard.
Also it’s a good habit to build your blog’s presence outside entrecard from time to time so that in case entrecard decides to kick you off their system for some mysterious reason or they suddenly vanish from sight, you won’t be left empty handed since you have other sources of traffic besides them.
I hope that add value to the conversation.

The reason why i am in entrecard is to boost my blog. This means that blogging is still my priority. I utilize EC to reinforce my blog and it is a very good opportunity. Although I drop 300 EC, I don’t drop them in one time. I stop and read to those interesting articles…just like now. When I am interested, and when I have something to add, I put and share my views.

a very genuine post and a good question bro…
I feel concentrating on your matter is very important but that doesn’t mean you stop dropping cards or just drop on favorites. I will tell my story.. when i started my blog: Wolverine Hacks, i was submitting my blog to hell lot of directories and so on.. but they were not sufficient as i wanted something which can give you regular visits… entrecard suited best.. you if drop 30 cards a day, 15 favorite and rest of 15 random. Atleast i do it that way… at the initial stages people used to just drop cards but then slowly slowly they started reading my content and commenting.. i recieve mails fro my reader more than comments…got many good friends..
